Leptospirosis : Vaccinating your dog

L4 Prevalence EU_tcm102-136141Leptospirosis is a globally widespread bacterial disease transmitted by the urine of rodents, especially in wet areas. The vaccine used to vaccinate our dogs typically protects against the three varieties commonly encountered. This disease is transmitted to humans and other mammals than the dog.

In 2013, 20% of diagnosed cases came from a newly emerged fourth in France variety. Veterinary Clinic Beaucouzé chose to use a new vaccine (L4) that protects your dog against this new variety.

This disease is common, vaccination is important to conduct regular.
